Nicholas Dagnino
I'm Nick, a mechanical and aerospace engineering student at UGA pushing the boundaries of an up-and-coming engineering program. I am passionate about the work I do and aim to build an understanding from first principles. Whether it's testing propulsion systems for fun, building research satellites, or designing high-speed aerial vehicles, I am always down for a challenge. Check out some more of my work.
- SRAD Responsible Engineer UGA Rocketry
- Hybrid Campaign Fluid Systems Lead UGA Rocketry
- Chief Propulsion Engineer UGA Rocketry
- MOCI Mechanical Team Lead SSRL
What keeps me busy
Space Systems • SSRL
Small Satellite Research Laboratory
Contributing to the Small Satellite Research Lab (SSRL) at UGA, focused on the mechanical integration and structural analysis of CubeSat platforms. My work involves ensuring mission-critical hardware survives the rigors of launch and the vacuum of space.
Propulsion • UGA Rocketry
UGA Rocketry Team
Leading design efforts for experimental high-power rocketry. I focus on hybrid propulsion modeling and aerodynamic stabilization, pushing the capabilities of UGA’s student-led aerospace initiatives through iterative flight testing and CAD optimization.
